Since we are sharing sad pet stories...
When I was 9 years old, my brother and I were standing outside by our car waiting on our mom to come outside (we went to private school), the public school bus driver drove down the street and swerved to run over our cat right in front of us! It was terrible, I could see him laughing as he did it.

Hi whites, how are the chicks doing?
Doing well; bumping their head on the brooder lid.
Question: would you put 19days old chicks in with 10-12 week old birds?
Clarification:
6 birds are 19 days old
5 are 10-12 weeks
I would try, is there plenty of space? I just put a few guineas together that were 4 weeks apart with no issues
Space shouldn't be a problem, since I believe 3 of the 5 youngin's are cockerels and won't be around once I'm sure of their sex. The run's 4x12, with an attached pen of roughly 12' square.
That should be plenty of space

How's the broody in the shed doing Mike?
That's funny!Ok too many sad pet storys....here's a video that makes me think this cat's owners HATE him.

Quail to hatch the 24th. Set 20 of them flat on bator bottom in one of my spare rails. Still waiting the new eggs shipment.
