My broody is due to hatch eggs on Wednesday. As far as I know there's still 10 eggs. She's never off the nest that I've seen.

The Altsterier hen. Really hope she has a good hatch and takes care of them.

Have you noticed a ratio of weight to roosters after weighing them.

Haven't noticed a correlation between hatch weight and sex, but at about two weeks there might be, as in anything over a certain weight is almost certainly male.

I hear you.... No cell phone service here either... I have satellite Internet service but it isn't all that good either.
