Thank you!!! I tried building a coolerbator using a wafer thermostat. I had everything hooked up correctly - DH checked- but it kept shorting out and it was the thermostat. I just gave up and got an incubator since I have a dozen hatching eggs and no way to get a thermostat locally!

Thank you for your posting the page about thermostats. I just may get the coolerbator to work eventually!

She keeps on DIGGING out of the run- no joke! She scratches at the sides until there is a big enough hole, and whoops, out she comes!
Good thing she is easy to catch, I can just call her over and put her away.

I'd better put rocks around the run...

I found one outside the nest last night, cold but still alive. Tucked it in my bosom while I tried to get pics of the gross bugs, then put it back in the nest. Still alive today! I was afraid she had kicked it out on purpose.

ALSO today is bubba's birthday. I'm in total denial. He can't be four already.

Candle results 3/12!!!!!

11/12 live and nice veins, #12 is a clear.... But I left it in, cuz one can never be to sure.
On 3+ of them... I SAW IT MOVE... No joke!!! 2 other people did too, and I wasn't holding the egg (had it on a stand thing) so I wasn't shaking it!! e
It was moving back and forth slightly, and getting darker and lighter.. That was so amazing... One of Jace's moved, and the other has good veins.... Ohh, I lost track of how many moved, and I suspect if I had more time I woulda seen close to all of them move!! e
