Doesn't get any better! I'm finding my temps often creeping up, on day 16. Normal for this stage you think?

It corrects quickly. Doesn't go crazy high, maybe 100.4 was the highest I've seen.

I did take my turner out so we'll see how the pinballing goes. I ordered te organizer baskets to try on the next batch but if you didn't have trouble with the turner/slider I might try leaving them.

I did not have any trouble, thought it was more of a benefit than a risk,
tho I did see where toes might get caught between tray and mesh as @junebuggena mentioned.

Isn't it great! I will never understand anyone who would choose a brinsea over the incuview.

I am thrilled with our Incuview! It was so accurate and had excellent results with our shipped Ancona duck eggs. The view is wonderful. I have now scrubbed the incuview down and will be transferring our 6 Muscovy eggs to the Incuview instead of our backup incubator. The backup incubator has a very heavy top and isn't really made for anything but chicken eggs and I am constantly checking the temp ... it wants to be either 98.6 or 100.3 and it makes me want to always use the Incuview. I had the Ancona eggs going into lockdown when our Muscovy eggs became ready for pickup. Tonight they are being transferred to the Incuview! Happy incubating and hatching, everyone!

My first hatch is going well. 5 are out of the 20 so far, fluffing well. Many rocking and rolling.

I left the turner tray in but covered it with shelf liner. The eggs got a little stability but toes are fairly protected.
