Is it safe to give your chickens your Christmas tree to play on?

I was just wondering if it's safe to give the Christmas to my flock to play on, has anyone ever done this?

Is it fake or real? If it's real then you can go ahead and give it to them. Just make sure they aren't eating the pine needles. It shouldn't have any chemicals on it either.

I would call wherever you got the tree from, assuming it's real, and ask if they were sprayed or treated with anything because tht could be very harmful if not deadly if your chickens eat the pine. And trust me they will at least taste it lol. Also make sure there's no tinsel on it!!!!! Lol
