I didn't expect my chicks to have gray legs, a crest, muffs or a beards because they cost less than $4. It helps to research the breeds you're buying so you won't be disappointed.
These chicks aren't typical easter eggers or "Ameraucana's either but they'll probably be good egg layers lol
