Once they have been crossed back several times they would be Isbars as I would just be completing their original intention. However, my project name for them is "Ice Cream Bars".

I keep forgetting to post on here, that I bought some chicks from chickenfanatics.com and they are lovely. 100% survived despite 2day shipping. I will try to get some good pics later today. Of course I ended up with 5 boys and 3 girls, but the boys are all blue or splash so at least they will be pretty!

Here is my Isbar, Fergie. She is 5 weeks old and hopefully turns out to actually be a she.

I have 3 Blue roos available about 8weeks old. Bought as chicks this spring from chickenfanatic.com
Very healthy, nice birds, just too many roos! Located in Central Michigan

I think Fergie looks like a pullet. I have a cockerel the same age and the comb is much larger and redder.

For some reason here the splash cockerels like to hide for weeks pretending to be pullets. The blues have shown me right away. Keep watching.

I've been lurking for a while but decided I should post pictures I just took of my three 10 week old Isbar. They were hatched from eggs from Omega Hills. Lucky for me a cockerel and 2 pullets.They are in a mixed group of Spitzhaubens, Augsbergers and Legbars.

What's everyone's average age of POL for Isbar pullets? Mine are at 6 months and I keep thinking "any day now..." Waiting for green eggs!
