Hey Bert, take a look at these little quail. I can't believe how they have feathered out in just a week. Getting 3 dozen more eggs this afternoon to set tomorrow morning. Already have 8 silkie/cochin eggs in the bator since Saturday (quails take 3 days less than chickens)





The little runt that I assisted is still so tiny, but eats and drinks and runs around just like the rest!

I don't think so, but plan to talk to the breeder this evening. Sometimes runts come from under-nourished hens, so maybe it was just a different hen than the rest.

I'll let you know what he says though!

Yes they grow up so fast until they reach about two months and they seem like they take for ever
