It has begun

Anything over 50% seems to fog up my glass so I started tilting the bator ever so slightly, not enough to roll the eggs, and any condensation rolls harmlessly to the wall and doesn't drip on the eggs. It is a homemade incubator so it's not perfect but it holds temp like a champ so far. Very excited to get home and check for more pips! My coworkers think I'm nuts for getting so excited over chickens...

I decided to set a few more eggs since my BCM just started to lay. I have only hatched one of her eggs, and she is 3 yrs old so time is running out.

Then how come ya couldnt just take the compliment :p you started it! All i did was give a nice sweet compliment! I might hang out at The Frog but i ment that compliment! You were Exactly right, after the pip and initial chirping, the chicks are takin naps, having such a difficult start in life.
