My EE layed a strange beige egg the other day, but today I found this green one under a juniper shrub. Why does this make me so happy?

Well I have to say I'm Green with envy (get it:lol:). My first EE just started laying, she has layed maybe 4 eggs and they are as brown as brown can be. I love Lulu, but this does make me sad.

I posted on facebook, sent out emails, and called DH at work. He took me out for a celebratory dinner tonight. I don't know why everyone doesn't have an EE in their flock. She isn't my prettiest hen, but her egg just blows me away.
