Just call me MotherGoose :D!! Day 1 Photos

I waited too long to let mother nature do her thing with baby #3. I had decided to wait until this evening to do anything more for it. My gut kept telling me to pip the inner membrane. I did not. It died sometime within the last 3 hours while I was working in the barn and my garden.

RIP baby goose.

I'm sorry about the last baby MP. But it is great news that you did such a good job with the other two.

(Next year I'll be aksing you for all kinds of advice.)

Sorry about the last one. It is so hard to know when or if to help. Sometimes when you do, it doesn't work, and sometimes it does.

The other two look beautiful! Congratulations, mom! They will imprint on you and follow you every where!

So sorry to hear about number 3, but congrats on the first 2. (I loved the pic of the new hatchling snuggling with the one and encouraging it.)

So far I haven't done any hatching ... I'm with snowydiamonds. I mean, I just THOUGHT my babies looked small and fragile when the arrived ... hatchlings are a whole 'nother story, aren't they?

Thanks for sharing and congrats again!
