Just for fun! I got some light brown eggs from this Tetra Tint hen who was covered by this Lavender Ameraucana rooster. Anyone ever crossed these before? Guesses on what I'm going to get? They are in the incubator now!

You will get Easter Eggers....and they should all lay a variation of light green-blue eggs (assuming your rooster carries 2 blue genes).

You'll also find out if your hen is dominant white or recessive white. (I'm thinking likely dominant as if I remember the Tetra Tint is White Leghorn in background).

If recessive white hen, you'll get black chicks with the Lavender roo. If dominant white hen, you'll get yellow (turning to white as adults) chicks...possibly with some grey bleed through.

Awesome! Thanks guys! I can't wait to see what they look like. I would love some little grey hens. But heck, I'll just be happy if they hatch period!
