This is my 2nd hatch-- 1st hatch was Great with 6 nice healthy rir chicks that are all (roos)
--- 6weeks old.My homemade bator was powered by a 25 watt bulb,with a dimmer switch and fan .Well thanks to the local feed store, the owner gave me a broken LG that was returned---FREE---"Unbelievable Right". My 8 yr old said ,"Lets use the parts out it" ,because the foam was destroyed some how".
So we used the heat element from it for our heat source this 2nd time around.Hopefully we get 100% hatch
