Keeping chickens in Glendale, CA?

Hi all,
Very interested in keeping a few chickens (hens only) at my house in Glendale, CA.
Technically I am in La Crescenta - which is an unincorporated area in LA County, but it is in Glendale city (I believe), which is its own incorporated city. Not entirely sure which regulations would apply to me.

Been having difficulty finding out definitively if there are any rules or regulations I need to comply with, such as distance from residences, etc?

I know some people near me have some - but I want to be absolutely sure before I begin investing in this venture! I am only interested in getting 2-3 chickens as I have a smaller yard. Its a home, and I am a tenant, so I don't want to violate any regulations.

If anybody can point me in the right direction, or have first-hand knowledge, that would be helpful. Thank you!
