They were both stand- offish and independent but I did like them. They were a chickeny kind of chicken. The hen laid a medium white egg almost every day.

This is a bird I still have, she is a cross between that roo and an EE. She is flighty like the Lakenvelders but lays a large white egg. I got the best of both worlds in her

Henk69 has THE prettiest birds hands down. I

the blue ones. Mine went to live on an acerage but unfortunately became fox meat. Chubby Bubby - the EE cross is moving further north as soon as the weather improves. I just don't have the room for the variety of birds I would like

The EE lakenveldr mix hen is SO CUTE!!!! I want her!!!!! SO CUTE! SO CUTE! SO CUTE!!!

I just hatched two chicks from her - one is dark blue and chubby faced the other is light blue and has a clean face. It's funny I got two blue birds from a gold and black bird.
