Yes the Lakenvelder and Vorwerk are two seperate breeds. What confuses people are these golden lakenvelders. A vorwerk should have a heavier build than a Lakenvelder and different type, and of course, color. (by our standards for color)

Ok I have to ask you guys. According to the McMurray catolog, they claim that lakenvelders have a plump gamebird type breast. Is that true with your birds?
 
I hope you guys can help me out! I've been stumped by these 2 pullets I got back in the fall. They are 6 mo old.
I think they are lakenvelders.
can you verify for me?

And I didnt think this bird was the same breed
but is it possible that there is a blue lakenvelder and the feathering is diff around the neck and head. she has
THE SAME built and these 3 stuck together like glue
as with the other "like" breeds I got from the hatchery that sent them to the tractor supply store I got them at. People are telling me they think she is a blue Andalusian, and she does fit the bill.
