From the research I've done the buff laced can be very personable and sweet if handled often.

On another note...my 8 white cap black & 4 silver laced chicks are crazy flighty...even though they are all handled and loved on daily...

I really like silkies even though their egg production isn't great!

I adore silkies, even if they aren't very smart, the hens are amazing broodies and excellent moms!

LOL, I have I have 23 chicks
Plus
2 blue Wyandotte older pullets
1 SL Wyandotte older pullet
1 SL polish older pullet
1 pearl white leghorn hen
5 broilers (Cornish X)
1 adult female Muscovy duck
2 make Runner ducks

And I'm only legally allowed to have 6 adult chickens on my property...shhhhh don't tell!
