I will definitely hold off then. I can always tuck another pullet in with one of my “party” flocks Why are there so many breeds that are so pretty and fun? We don’t even actually like eggs that much around here. We just like our birds. My mom has 3 new silkies she thinks are roosters and wants to keep them all.

Definitely keep an eye on it. Male-specific feathering starts at 12 weeks, so you can't possibly see anything by now. Maybe get the photo RoostersAreAwesome said, I trust their judgement

The comb is difficult to evaluate on this one for me because of coloring. Otherwise it is looking like a pullet. So yeah, hold off on judging because it could go either way.

Where are all of you seeing the male-specific feathering? Not angry, I'm just curious. Luikse Vechters are one of my favorite breeds and I want to learn more! It's hard to sex slow-feathering breeds.

I think they meant male-specific color leakage. Which would be the gold. But I also think I'm seeing what would be the beginning of male-specific feathers, but it might just be my eyes

This looks like the beginnings of male specific feathering to me. The bird is blue birchen and a female of that color should not have those silvery feathers in the saddle area. In my opinion it's a cockerel. The comb is large for its age, too.
