ANY ideas? Porcelain D’uccles

I cannot keep cockerels! I only have two chicks so I’m hoping there is at least one pullet.

They are coming up on 3 weeks. I know that is too early but any suspicions are appreciated.

I tell them apart with the colors on their head. It’s just watered down food coloring and will grow out with their feathers. You can refer to them as pink and green, hahah.

Also, are porcelain d’uccle roosters sought after? I want to be able to rehome them to a nice home with their own girls if one (or both ) turns out to be a boy.

I'm not sure if it's just a tad early to try to sex them, but I found a thread about this breed that maybe would help. They sure are cute! Love your food coloring idea. I may have to use that sometime!

D’Uccles in my experience mature quickly. I’d say you have a cockerel based on the comb size. But I’d still wait a little longer. If the comb turns red you’ll know it’s a boy.

Its really to young to know for sure, but I'm guessing pink is a cockerel and green is a pullet.

That’s what I’m thinking! Pink is definitely a cockerel. I’m hoping green turns out to be a pullet since there is no change in the comb but lots of difference.
