Little Guy's first crow..

At about five minutes til six this morning our black Japanese bantam decided he was a rooster after all, it was a squeaky little crow that he attempted three times. He's fourteen weeks old and still too small to put out with the flock. When we do he just puffs up and tries to peck the girls who just look at him like what are you doing and peck his head to show him how it's done.

First crows are funny. My CX teenager has a wonderful, deep crow. My turken cockerels crow is still horrible, sounds like a dying cow. I've noticed the more the CX crows, the better the turken is starting to sound. I think the CX is teaching him.
