silkies, or cochins. my silkies have hatched ducks, guineas, anything remotely egg shaped. If I don't get an egg right away Senorita Broody Pants will roll it across the floor and in to her stash

My game hens are the best broodies!!!! They are extremely good moms and hatch wonderfully only downside is while they are the best moms they are extremely protective of the babies and will get ya if you get too close.

My phoenix hens have gone broody twice each in about 8 months.

Silkies and Cochins. Australorps will also go broody, some more than others I think.
