I got these 2 adorable old English Bantams, they are between 2-3 weeks old. If I were to guess I think one is a pullet and one is a cockerel due to size and color difference, but I’m not good at this… yet! The bigger (I think cockerel) also rushes at the little one as if it wants to play fight, which is adorable. Looks like rooster behavior… What do you all think???

It's difficult to see much in that lighting but I think the one in the third picture is a male based on the black breast feathers. That is assuming he is a silver duckwing, golden duckwing or black breasted red, all of which have different coloring for males and females. I really can't tell much with the other chick.

That is the one I think is a male as well… I have a picture of their parents. Would that help?

yeah that’s what I’m thinking as well… I have a picture of their parents, I will post. In one picture there are 2 hens, their momma is on the right (darker one)

The mother is black breasted red, the father silver duckwing. If it was the other way around they would be sex linked. These chicks will all be silvery brown.

Definitely look for black breast feathers for males, salmon ones for females. That's a surefire way to sex this cross.
