Lost a chick DX

Today my little sister woke me up crying saying that one of the chicks was dead. There was no blood in the poop and the water was high enough that she couldn't have drowned. We put her in a shoe box because we want to bury her. Will the feed store give me a refund for this chick. It was only nine days old.

Every feed store is different but they may do something for you. Doesn't hurt to try. Good luck.

They probably won't give you a refund- but you should ask for a replacement. This is the right time of year to be looking for chicks- you may find a freebee someplace else. Sorry for your loss!
