Okay cool. I will go to home depot again to get PVC glue. (Love that place!)

If you can, put the glue or calk on the inside of the bucket. If you put it around the pvc pipe on the outside, they chickens will pick it if they see it. I had to cut my caulk off the outside of one of my buckets. We had made the hole just a tad to big also. We caulked it and it's been fine for almost a year now.

You can see the white caulk ring around the elbow.

I'm still having some waste problem but not as much since I lifted it higher off the ground.

We have lots of buckets. We cut the bottom out and use them on our tomato plants to protect them from the wind until they get a good start.
 
I just finished up my bucket waterer with the horizontal nipples (3) and a 2 hole bucket feeder. The chicks (7weeks old) seem to do very well with it. It's nice not having to fill their food/water every day and everything is clean!
