First rain here in months!!!! Not use to seeing Washington brown... Where are from?

Well I would have been busy today.... But I got to save my strength for the Seahawks first preseason game!!!!!!!

I used to live in Southern California but now I live in New Mexico. I'm used to hot summers, but some rain would still be nice! Luckily most of NM is out of the drought, but since we are in the high desert, we don't get a ton of rain even on a good year. (Unless a storm drops a ton all at once!)

My parents live up in Port Townsend and my Dad is a huge Seahawks fan, too!

Port Townsend is beautiful!!!!!!!! Ww2 bunkers there.. And one of the most haunted towns in washington

They really like it. Very green, but not enough sunshine for me. To much gray skies makes me really depressed and sucks all my energy. I must be part plant - I need the sun!

This year has been 90 degrees!!!! This is our first rain. But yes a normal season puts most into depression. I am enjoying the sun but really appreciate the rain cause half our state is on fire And even the Capitol building isn't watering their fields because of drought... Plus I don't like burn bans!!!! I want to roast hot dogs outside!!! Lol

I have never been to a true dessert.... Would like too at some point.

Desert..... Just realized I don't want two servings of sand!!!

Was just thinking about your compost. If your looking for more immediate results you should try compost tea. The set up is pretty simple and well contained.

I think it's working... I was just impatient. But I also think I was hosing g it down enough and messing with it too much... I have increased the watering and just let it sit there for a week or so and the lower layers are starting to turn dark and break down. I just want it for next year... But I get ocd about doing stuff sometimes. Lol
