Male or Female?

So my sweet baby Saphire Gem has me confused. I know these can be sexed at hatching but we were not there for that time and it was already a week old when we picked it up. So I posted a few pics of our Saphire Gem for some help so we can name it. Thanks my chicken friends!

Male sapphire gems have barring, females are plain blue, it's a boy! Plus his comb is very pink

Is the comb being that color a bad thing?

For that age, it means it's a cockerel. Pullets don't get pink combs until about 18ish weeks.
