There is a certain Brahma in my bator that will be out of the shell very shortly!!

He sent me a pic.. Looks like it nicked a vein along the way but according to his last text it's going strong. A troublesome nicked vein would be immediately apparent, yes?

Couple of questions: how do you keep from candling everyday? What's everybody's lockdown process? Oh my nerves! Only day 10.

Make sure you are really busy... I'm lucky i have enough time to candle even once.... You could always use the old Nancy Reagan anti-drug slogan from the 80's. "Just say no"...

I've had them survive an assisted hatch and be fine w/ more blood loss then that.
