mealworms: mold in bran

A while back I bought a big bag of wheat bran with the intention of adding it to my mealworm container. I finally got around to it today and just as I was about to pour it in I noticed green mold on the bran. Can I sterilize the bran in the oven (20 minutes at 150 degrees) or should I just chuck the bran?

i would get ride of it but there should never be mold growing in your mealworms or they are being kept to moist

So heating the bran in the oven won't kill the mold?

The problem with feeding moldy feed is the toxins formed:

I have lost chickens to moldy feed (aspergillosis).

It is worth every penny to buy fresh feed and toss the old feed.
