I went ahead and bought 2 more turkey hens for my tom. I have no idea how old they are as it was a free for all with all ages. Right now they are in a huge crate but they want out so not getting to close as they get wild
The gentleman said they are a barnyard mix which I'm guessing means no idea what breed they are.. from what I can guess maybe a burbon red and a blue slate. Pretty rough looking.
Now the burbon red again says its a hen and had a beard which I know is possible as I has another burbon red hen with a beard.
But the gray one could possibly be a tom. She/he wasn't strutting with all the other Tom's that were there so not sure if anyone has any idea or suggestions about the gray one.
The brown one had a huge lump on her head anyone know what that could be? It's not the snood.
Can anyone tell me what's wrong with the gray ones legs very dry looking and nasty!
