mingling

I have already 2 roosters and 6 hens that are 8 months old. I have 6 hens that are 4 months old and one of them laid an egg today. I keep the younger ones in my basement in dog runs. I want to mingle them with the others. I have a shed and a run so there is a lot of space. Should I put them in and gate them in a part of the shed to protect them as well as are they ready for colder nights.

Yes, temporarily divide the coop and run so you can monitor reactions.....you might want to give them a week or two before mingling....if this is possible. Make sure there ate adequate food and water stations to minimize conflicts. Good luck!
