I am new to raising poultry/waterfowl. I errored badly in my planning and got the wrong breed for my situation. I have Pekins, for which I underestimated greatly the space that they need. I have 5 females about a month old. 1 had a niacin deficiency, although she seems to have recovered, yet I think she spradled her legs too, and she has been eating her feathers. After this post I will be looking up a avian vet in my area for her because my experience level is too low to be confident in what to do to help her. I live in North Eastern NJ, literally 2 minutes from Rockland county NY, an hour from PA, 2 plus hours from Delaware, and 3 hours from Maryland. I am willing to meet you with the ducklings if you are a far distance. They will come with the food, grit, brewer's yeast and gravity feeder that I have.
