I've got a turkey who recently started to set in what is about to become a work zone. Is it possible to move her and her eggs, or will she just abandon it. She is on the ground, not in a box of any kind.

I've got a turkey who recently started to set in what is about to become a work zone. Is it possible to move her and her eggs, or will she just abandon it. She is on the ground, not in a box of any kind.

You can try. If she is seriously broody, it may work, if not, she will abandon the eggs and try to return to the nest site.

Have an escape proof pen set up. Move the eggs to the pen into some sort of nest. Put the hen in with them. If she is broody enough, she will accept the new nest.
