Muscovy Duckling colors

What did you end up with? I'd love to see some pictures. If I had to guess, I'd say you got a white, 2 lavenders, and a chocolate...?
I just got my first set of Muscovys and I'm trying to figure out what I have.

People familiar with the colours can.. that would not include me lol I know the ones that are yellow are whites as i have quite a few of them, as for blacks those I have a picture of as I have a pair from last summer...

Now my newest baby(hatched almost a week ago) looks similar and one of the above could be daddy but i can't figure out black from chocolate

Hmmmm now you make me wonder about mine.
I'm like you, I know all yellow will be white, but that's as far as my knowledge of color goes lol.
I'm amazing at horse colors and genetics, but when it comes to ducks, I'm practically clueless lol.

Some of their colors confuse me.
AMHA colorings throw me off a bit. The Dun doesn't look like a typical dun on a regular horse. And the fact that they have Sorrel and Chestnut throws me. I was always taught that they were they same color, it just depended on what discipline. Of course I don't deal much with minis lol.

It's beyond confusing.. you read the papers look at the horse and go? huh? anyways, these silly ducks lose me in the same way.. it's easier to stick with the whites.. now those are simple to sort out

See these are so called chocolates but again I find it hard as young to tell the difference? as adults i can plainly see it my blacks are much darker..

Hmmm now I wonder if I'll have 3 chocolates. 2 aren't as dark as the chocolates in that picture.
Maybe I will have a black.
Your drakes are gorgeous! I've never see a pretty much solid black before. I love it!

what colour is the mum, you said the dad was white, if you can tell us the colour of the mum you can work out the colour possiblities and this can narrow down your choices, can make it easier.
