Still seems to early for a muscovy. I guess you'll know soon, but one poster said mybe a mallard drake is flying into the muscovy pen which might be you answer?

I think Mallards, pekins, runners, covys, and sweddish blue are the cutest ducklings. Could a muscovy be free ranged?

Mine free range everyday I am home which is most days.

I had asked the seller about that and they didn't think it was possible. They still claim they are pure muscovy, but they might have started developing before they were shipped. I don't see how that is possible with it being so cold.
