My chicken coop made with pallets!

Made my hen house 2 years ago with pallets. It was a temporary home. It worked so well i have not upgraded yet. Her is a video of my pallet hen house.

Two years with no issues. What ever works!
In my area the run would definitely need upgrade due to predators. They would also need closed up at night for the same reason.
Your birds do seem healthy, happy, and content.

Yes there happy girls! I have a pretty good fence around my yard. Did have to fix some holes. Cause some nasty dogs got in once.

Not needed...and provides homes for rodents.
Good ventilation is more important.

Thats a great point! I was toying with ideas how to winterize mine and saw someone stuffed all the slats with hay but the mice here would be all over that... I also live in central tx so im not too concerned with insulation i guess.
