Thanks again! On the coop with everything including the sand, wood and hardware it cost a little over $1000 (that's without metal roof had that left over) The brooder was about $80. It cost way more than I thought it would! It's definitely worth it tho.

WOW, I know adults that could not come close to your skills! Nice work. As for breeds,I would suggest you decide what you expect from them then decide on a breed. If its eggs you want, any red hybrid (sex link) will want provide many delicious eggs for you to enjoy.

Haha! Thanks! I'm thinking about going and getting the paint today. My mom wants it a cream color like the color of our house. Should I paint the whole thing cream color or the trim a different color? What color?! This is where I'm clueless..

A little contrast with the trim will make it pretty. What color is the trim on your house? No reason why you couldn't make it match the house. I'm sure it would make your mother happy.
