A few days ago I made a bit of progress. I traded off the forearm I had, because it's too long, and bought a stripped upper. (It has the sight, but no dust cover, FA or BCG). It also has one of those carry handle optic mounts, so if I use this gun for deer hunting I can put a red dot or something on it.
I found the BCG I want, but I'm still trying to sell a shotgun to get the money. Then I need the FA, dust cover, crush washer for the muzzle brake, the nut that holds the barrel on (Castle nut?), 3 inch free float forearm, low pro gas block and tube, and whatever else I don't know of yet.
Free float hand guard arrived today. Still needs more parts, but it's looking almost finished and since the hand guard works as a barrel nut I can leave the barrel on it now.
I plan to take video the first time I shoot it, and probably a few times after that. I want to get some in the dark, to see how much flame that short barrel shoots out.
