My hen got this weird sore on her bum, what do I do to make it heal better?

My hen is about 1 year, she is fairly new in the flock and has only been in it for a couple months, she has always been the rooster’s favorite to breed on.
The rooster doesn’t do it as often anymore but she has got this ugly sore on her bum, it doesn’t seem to hurt her and I can touch it no problem, she is also acting totally normal the only thing off about her is the sore.
How do I make it heal in the fastest and best way possible?

Where is this on the hen? Where is her vent in relation to this area? Is it at the vent opening? Is he pecking her?

This is just over her vent, she can poop just fine,and it isn’t blocking anything. I don’t think she is pecking at it or any of the other hens are, as it is pretty hidden under all of her feathers.

Can you see any moving lice or mites under her vent? I would put some BluKote, pine tar, or Nustock cream on it . Those can help to disguise a wound and prevent pecking.

There are no mites or lice,in her it’s just a sore. But thank you for the tip I will definitely to that and hope that it heals up soon
