My neice's chickens...

So we bought these most recent 5 chicks as a gift for my 5 year old neice. They will stay at my farm with my flock but be hers. This little girl is a chicken fanatic...

Is??? Maybe was...

I;m not sure yet but some of the facination might of warn off when one of the chicks pooped on her... I said, i'ts OK, they poop, and wiped it off, but she was rather disgusted. I told her they were just babies, but she still did not want to hold them very long the next time...

We'll see if she decides it;s OK or not. She can be a very stubborn little girl...

LOL!!!! That's how it goes, huh???? She'll either get over it or admire them from a distance....or maybe the first time she sees an egg get pooped out she'll understand that 'poop' isn't always bad. On the flip side, however, she may thing that eggs are chicken poop and won't have anything to do with them!!! LOL!!! Good luck!!!
