I have to do a tractor supply run today and I will probably try the equine pine with them. I've used it for chicks with good results too.

Not sure how many I'm expecting. Thought I was done at 7! I did a quick candle before lockdown and I think I saw 10 or 11 dark ones. First time hatching quail though, I didnt even know if you could candle them! I added more water to the incuabator and left it on just in case. I dont even remember which day I set them either. I think it was late on a friday or saturday night, Next time I gotta remember to write it down! Usually I just set chicken eggs on a tuesday, that way I always know they'll be due on a tuesday. The shorter incubation time threw me off!

The last 2 are soo cute! One has the CUTEST spotted toes! I wonder if my camera will focus on something so small..
