my rooster attacked me!!!

This happened to me once when my chickens had a different caretaker for nearly a month and a half during a relocation. My chickens had basically been left alone with little contact. When I resumed normal duties, they were just weirded out by the sudden change.

Sorry it happened, and hope you are okay. Some roosters are human aggressive and this is not a rare event. How is he in daylight? It's possible to make excuses for this one event, but be ready if this is who he now wants to become.
Once, maybe, but be prepared for possible repeated episodes.

he about a year and i dont know
He is about the age this can happen. How many hens does he have? He can get over it. I recently took a rooster in that was attacking his owner and he wanted to attack me but found out that wasn't smart. Now he uses me for his body guard. Everyone handles them differently. Some just cull. I don't. I train. No two roosters are alike. Try carrying him around like a football talking to him. Make him eat from your hand or he doesn't eat. Let him know you rule the roost in all things including food.
