My rooster died, but how?

I had him since I was 8, he was named King. I have no idea what killed him, though. Do you guys think you know? He didn't look like he had any sicknesses, just a happy chicken, then he died. Please respond. Im crying so hard right now

We will need more to go on if you want us to make an assessment. Any lethargy? Did he have trouble walking or balancing? How did his poop look? If all his signs were normal, it was probably old age. Happens to everyone and everything, from onions to elephants. I'm sorry for your loss.
