Hello everyone!

My silkie rooster that I've had for almost two years now, is all of a sudden going bald! Last night I saw he had a wound on the top of his head but it wasn't anything too bad so all I did was clean it up. This evening I went to feed the hens some oatmeal and egg and saw that his beautiful fluffy head was now going bald. Weirdly the skin underneat is not bloody or rough. I do have another rooster in a closed enclosure nearby. They eat from the same feeder and I'm wondering if the rooster could be picking at my silkie through the feeder? All the girls are doing great, could the girls be picking on my rooster?

I will attach a picture of him from a few months ago, one from last night, one from today and a picture of the enclosure!

I know he is dirty, believe it or not he got a bath 2 weeks ago and it did not help a bit but he did enjoy the hair dryer!:D

It is very likely that a hen or hens are feather pecking/plucking him. Have you added new birds to his flock or have they recently been penned up without free ranging ? I'm not certain which enclosure he is in, but that does not appear to be enough space for multiple birds.

Thank you for your answer! That's not their enclosure! I am standing in the coop taking the photo! The coop is 12x6x6 feet and I have 8 hens and a rooster in it😊 The enclosure is for my two baby chick(one of them a rooster) The door is open for them to free range but they do not like snow and it's -20 here so they prefer to stay inside. Is there something I could do to prevent them from plucking his feathers? The only new addition to the flock are my two chicks that's all and they are not in direct contact.

I agree, it's likely the hens plucking him bald. Could be they are bored since they are not getting out much due to the weather, could be they discovered those plucked feathers are tasty - you never know about chickens.
You can try keeping them busy by adding some straw, leaves, etc. to the coop floor and scatter some scratch, finely chopped greens in there so they are digging and not plucking. Access your feed - are they getting enough protein?
If you need to, come up with a plan to separate him while he heals up (if they continue to pluck him) - maybe he can go with the chicks in their area or set up kennel to give him some protection.
