Hello everyone!
My silkie rooster that I've had for almost two years now, is all of a sudden going bald! Last night I saw he had a wound on the top of his head but it wasn't anything too bad so all I did was clean it up. This evening I went to feed the hens some oatmeal and egg and saw that his beautiful fluffy head was now going bald. Weirdly the skin underneat is not bloody or rough. I do have another rooster in a closed enclosure nearby. They eat from the same feeder and I'm wondering if the rooster could be picking at my silkie through the feeder? All the girls are doing great, could the girls be picking on my rooster?
I will attach a picture of him from a few months ago, one from last night, one from today and a picture of the enclosure!
I know he is dirty, believe it or not he got a bath 2 weeks ago and it did not help a bit but he did enjoy the hair dryer!
