Full ventilation front and back of the roost.
 
Totally adorable! Wish I could use one like that here but the wind would topple it in a heartbeat. Love the roof and design of the whole thing. Very good construction!

May I say though that you could shorten your ladder and make a small platform or roosting pole about 14" high and get more use of the ground. The chickens will never use the bottom rungs for anything except trying to roost. Birds always choose to start going up the ladder about midways.
