My two australorp girls came to me at 6 weeks and everyone else had names but them so they went nameless for a long while ....until...
they began acting like two shameless preening hussys in front of my young, inexperienced rooster. They flirted and teased, brushed up against him, and just acted like two morally questionable naughties. They were the first ones that Sid mated with (I'm fairly sure!) so they got the nickname of "The French girls"

because of their outrageous flirty behavior. Quiche and Souffle were therefore well deserved names.
No offense meant to those of French descent, of course.

The BO and BR took forever to give poor Sid the time of day. They played much harder to get then those French girls......
 
Ours are:

Teenager and JD - BA pullets
Jane (as in Jane Doe) - PR pullet
Betty White and Bea Arthur - Gold Laced Wyandotte pullets
Cupcake, Greywing, Leader, Nugget, and Anonymous - EE pullets
 
Of course, I also like Boychick (roo), Chicklette (pullet), Fruit Loop, Otis, Jethro, Cletus, Clairesse, Bubba, Gandalf, Frodo, Bilbo, Oprah,
