Copper2, maybe you should help the OP save money and go right on over and trap the ducks. You can let us know how well they do in your oven!

I agree it seems like a terrible waste of meat, but I am not sure I would want to eat them...... not knowing what is along them and all!

NO thank you. I'm sure they would by tasty if you invited some guests and didn't tell them they might have a disease. But considering brands of chicken such as Tyson have a bunch of there chickens dead before they reach the " fatal house" maybe the ducks are better to eat!

Waterfowl carry pox. They don't die from it. Mosquitoes bite the ducks, then they bite the chickens, and the chickens get sick.

I don't think Copper2 ever said that Tyson processes the dead chickens, just that the chickens must not be healthy altogether if so many die in transit.
