Need help! WIld 20+ ducks keep getting in the coop daily

The ducks have already made her chickens sick. The best thing for the ducks is to be euthanized. There is no sense in rehoming them to make someone else's flock sick. Some times the tough solution is the only one.

There is one other option THE OVEN! LOL. I hope your flock gets better.

Copper2, maybe you should help the OP save money and go right on over and trap the ducks. You can let us know how well they do in your oven!

I agree it seems like a terrible waste of meat, but I am not sure I would want to eat them...... not knowing what is along them and all!

I was just reading and pox r spread by mosquitos! So if the ducks had it your chickens were more than likely going to get pox anyways. I dont think people should catch/kill the ducks for doing what they can to survive. If I were u I would feed your chickens before u let them out in the morning and once they start going in for the evening.

Also if the duck had pox they would be dying too. Waterfowl r less likely to have pox than chickens.
