I released my quail out in their coop/enclosed run today. Will quails lay in the same area? Or will I have to go on a Easter egg hunt each time I go into their enclosure?

It depends on the quail most of the time mine will lay wherever but then sometimes they will all lay in the same spot if they feel safe that’s where they will lay.

Found an egg right in the walk way. doesn’t help that they blend into the dirt and grass.

Yeah mine like to bury their eggs lol until just the tip is poking out but then two days later they all lay in the corner and don’t bury them lol

And here I thought quail were going to be less maintenance than chickens. I can say they are fun to Watch. The crowing is cute .
