Nesting?

Just went on an egg hunt. at night. I didn’t know quail laid afternoon/evening. Found one egg and gave up. The mosquitoes were relentless. And I didn’t have any bug spray on.

Yeah mine also don’t lay till around 5 then I walk out and there is 4 soon I’ll be up to 11 on a good day as I have 7 celadon hens that are 7 weeks old on Wednesday.
